Día Cinco

¡Bienvenidos! Today was action-packed. From 8:30 to 1:00 we had our usual Spanish grammar, conversation, and culture classes. But after class, we headed to the house of  Miguel de Unamuno, a famous Spanish author, which was very interesting. All around the house, there were pictures and paintings of Unamuno everywhere, but my favorite portrait had to be this one that depicted him with books. It was odd, but it was also cool and creative!
After the tour of the house, Jordan and I headed home for lunch and a siesta. We needed the rest, because at 6:30, we all went to take a flamenco class. The teacher had us put on flowing skirts, flamenco shawls, and handed us all fans to dance with. It was all very exciting. I'm not the greatest dancer, so I thought the class was a bit difficult, but I had fun all the same. The teacher was really good at dancing the flamenco, so it was enjoyable to watch her do it so effortlessly.
Then, after the class, Jordan and I went and ate dinner at a restaurant in La Plaza Mayor. We ordered way too much food, but it was all delicious. By then, it was time to head home. All in all the day was fantastic and I am looking forward to all the future activities! ¡Hasta luego!
